Course 3: Advanced Workshop in Operating a Bed and Breakfast
This workshop is aimed at people who are in the Industry and need assistance in making better
decisions in relation to set up, operating and managing their Bed and Breakfast.
Workshop Content (3 parts)
Part 1 - Practical:
Health and Hygiene Standards, Food regulations, Industry Standards and expectations (AAA),
purchasing supplies, manchester, bedding, laundry, day to day activities, furniture, garden
maintenance, pool safety, signage, menus, meals, and more.
Part 2 - Presentation:
Presentation of personnel and surrounds, communication skills, networking, promotions, professional
approach, and more.
Part 3 - Administration:
Book keeping, administration, technology, marketing, advertising, merchant facilities, banking,
memberships, tourism, financial planning, follow up, professional stationery, and more.
The course runs over 6 hours.
The course includes:
- Afternoon tea or morning tea.
- All notes and tuition.
